Shuttle Service

Many of our guests choose to take advantage of our 2 night package and split the Cheviots into 2 sections, which includes a free shuttle to pick you up and drop you off.

It means you can carry a lighter day pack and enjoy the spectacular views, rather than having to worry about covering the last 28 miles in a single day.

The shuttle runs from when we open in April through to the end of September.

How it works

Stay with us for 2 nights bed & breakfast and we will provide free transport as you traverse the Cheviots.

The pick-up point is in the very literal middle of nowhere, meaning no phone signal.

We meet you at a roadhead approximately 2.5 miles south of Windy Gyle and pick up at 17:00.

The next day we leave Forest View around 09:15, you will be back on the hill for 10:00.

NOTE - If you are walking North to South then we highly recommend allowing extra time as the route is very hilly and tough for a first day. In some cases it can take 10+ hours to reach the pick-up point.
