Opening Hours

In 2024 we will be open on Easter weekend - March 30th and 31st - then from the 12th of April through to the 9th of October.

Check in opens at 16:00 every day.
Check out is 10:00.

Between 10:00 and 16:00 we are closed, it gives us time to do all the behind the scenes stuff that keeps the place running.

Shuttle Service

A special place in the forest

As seen on the BBC's Pennine Way program, Forest View occupies a unique spot in the village of Byrness, nestled in the beautiful Redesdale Valley.

We are a small, family run 4 star guesthouse with 7 rooms, a resident's restaurant & bar stocked with local real ales and a range of wines and spirits.

We are just off the Pennine Way, five miles south of the Scottish border. Being right between Northumberland National Park, and Kielder Forest Park, makes us the ideal destination for walking, cycling, relaxing and star gazing.
